Plastering & screeding
The finish everything else depends on
Poor plastering shows through every coat of paint, and an uneven screed causes problems for flooring and tiles. Getting these stages right makes the rest of the job easier and the end result far better. We plaster and screed as part of our extension and new build work, and as standalone jobs for homes and businesses.

Garden and patio redesign
Matt was able to discuss our patio and garden plans with us and and put them in to reality.
The end result is everything we had hoped for, we're really pleased with the result. We now have an eye-catching low maintenance garden.
We also had the house wall repointed.
Reliable and great work
Great work, great communication, sorted out the problem quickly and no fuss, even when the job expanded beyond what we agreed. Result is better than we had originally. Very pleased.
Great work, on time, tidy and well priced.
Excellent job, turned up on time, did a great job exactly as agreed, left the job tidy and charged as quoted. I will definitely use them again.
Brick soldier course for lintel above window
Looked at pics and assessed the job, came to quote. Saw that it was urgent, as my replacement window couldn’t be fitted as the lintel was close to collapse. Matt booked in the job for the next day and 2 of his guys did the work. All very professional.
Superb Brickwork, Highly Recommended
The brickwork on our new‑build barn‑annex, including the chimney stack and a one‑metre perimeter wall, was completed to a superb standard. The team kept the site consistently tidy, worked with real pride, and showed genuine passion for the craft. Everyone was polite, respectful, and easy to deal with, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for reliable, quality brickwork.
Repointing & bricks replacement of townhouse
Mr Bradford provided a very competitive quote for re-pointing and replacement of damaged bricks of my sea-facing townhouse. The work was completed very professionally in a timely fashion. I am happy to recommend him.
Update to front steps
Matt and his team completed some work on our front steps. The work was carried out exactly as discussed and to a very high standard. We would definately be using for future work.
Patio extension
Matt and his fab team recently extended my patio. It was just what I had in mind - the slabs matched perfectly and shingle was added by the fence so it matched existing work. They also tidied up like nothing ever happened. Amazing. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

A skim coat typically needs a few days to a week before painting, depending on temperature and ventilation.
How long does a screed take to dry?
Traditional screeds dry at roughly 1mm per day for the first 40mm, so allow several weeks before laying sensitive flooring.
Can you screed over underfloor heating?
Yes. We regularly lay screeds over wet underfloor heating systems.
